Angel Flight

“Angel Flight was created by a group of pilots who believe in the benefit of volunteering. We strive to keep all aspects of the organization volunteer. We are a non-profit charitable organization of pilots, volunteers, and friends. We will arrange free air transportation for any legitimate, charitable, medically related need. This service is available to individuals, and health care organizations. We will also arrange transportation of those people who are financially distressed, or who are in a time-critical, non-emergency situation due to their medical condition. Angel Flight South Central primarily serves patients needing transportation to or from the heartland region, including the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and New Mexico.” The Social Worker at Mary Crowley can assist you in the set up for this service.

Miracle Flights

Miracle Flights is a nonprofit organization helping to improve access to healthcare by assisting patients with commercial air travel to go to destinations for medical appointments. Qualifications are based on medical need and financial status. The Social Worker at Mary Crowley can assist you with this application process.

DART

The DFW Metroplex is served by Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART). DART offers railway travel as well as shuttle services. The nearest railway station to Medical City Hospital is the Forest Lane Station which serves both the Red and Orange Lines. The distance from Forest Lane Station to Medical City is a little over a mile. Please visit www.dart.org for more information on DART’s transportation services.

From Forest Lane Station, you may access a DART shuttle that will transport you directly to the hospital. Please click HERE for a schedule of the shuttle from Forest Lane Station to Medical City.
